Kenny died of cancer October 19, 1993. I attended the visitation. One thing struck me as I got out the yearbook that evening and looked at the football team picture. Everyone who stood around Kenny except for one person who was out of town was at that visitation. I understood what "football buddies" meant. DKD
Kenny was a good friend when I was in high school. I wasn't atheltic or popular, but he always made feel like I belonged whenever we were together at a social function. His greatest gift was his ability to make others feel good about themselves. He never put others down, and I think that's what made him stand out so well. I still miss him and his kindness. Mark Zeid
Kenny and I dated for a while not too long after we were out of high school. We used to go dancing over at some place near the high school. Can't remember the name but it was a teenage nightclub. One of my strongest memories of Kenny was dancing with him when he suddenly picked me completely up and began swinging me in circles on the dance floor yelling "Aahhhh!!!" He was unpredictable,fun-loving and one of the sweetest guys I knew back then. I was deeply saddened when I heard of his passing years ago.
