Although James and I were never really close, I will always remember his kindness and kind words to me at the first reunion I attended. He went out of his way to greet me and renew our friendship. God's speed to you my friend. Thank you.

I was very pleased that Jim was able to come to our 45 year reunion. We had been close during school years, and it was a blessing to be able to catch up on lots of news. I had just a few days ago mentioned to my wife that I had been expecting email from him. I am thankful that he had shared with me the fact that he had trusted the Lord Jesus Christ and was enjoying His blessing. I will be looking forward to meeting again someday!

I knew that he wasn't well last summer, but I didn't realize how sick he really was. I need to pay more attention. Jim, I am sorry I didn't spend more time with you then. It's a comfort knowing that you are with the Lord.

I remember spending time with Jim at the reunion. He had the most interesting way of making me feel special. As many of you know, I often write letters and send postcards to several classmates. I sent Jim a couple and he kept complimenting me for a post card I sent him from Japan. How unique. He made me feel so special by remembering a simple act of friendship from many years ago. I will miss Jim, but more importantly, I will always appreciate the way he made me feel. Thanks Jim.   From Mark Zeid
