Karen Sue (Alspaugh) Pletcher, 64, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, March 10, 2017 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 16, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Clifton Junior Alspaugh and Dorothy Gertrude Wheeler Alspaugh.

Surviving are son, Bill (Andrea) Pletcher IV of Wilmington; daughter, Courtney (Will) Diaz of Raleigh, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Victor and Max Diaz and Isaac and Jenna Pletcher; five siblings, Kenneth (Linda) Alspaugh, Cathi Boggs, James (Mary Anne) Alspaugh, Cheryl Biggers, and Terry Alspaugh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at John Bryan State Park, Yellow Springs, Ohio, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 15.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wilmington Fire and EMS, 69 N. South St., Wilmington, OH 45177.
