Fraser, June “Elaine” Gearhart, age 67 of Crestview, passed away on October 3, 2018. Elaine was born in Crestview, Florida on June 24, 1951; as a daughter of a retired Air Force Staff Sergeant and an adventurous soul, she has lived in many places during her life, including Alaska, Ohio, Washington, Oregon, and Florida. She was in the Class of 1971 at Fairborn High School. She was a compassionate and caring person who left behind a loving family and many dear friends as she entered into heaven. Elaine enjoyed music, the outdoors, animals, and talking about her grandson. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles "Bob" and Maryann “Jo” Gearhart; her sister, Anita “Joyce” Weiss; and her brother, Thomas Robert Gearhart. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Lewis, of Springfield, OH, and grandson, Benjamin Lewis; sister, Barbara Fitzpatrick, of Crestview; brother, John Gearhart, of Samson, AL; dear friends, Michelle Lemons, of Bryant, Arkansas, Diane Nobles, of Crestview; as well as many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Elaine’s name to the Emerald Coast Hospice.
