Julia C. “Julie” Bowser, age 62 of Dayton, passed away Friday January 8, 2016.  She was born June 18, 1953 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Harry, Jr. and Mary Margaret (Jones) Bowser.  She was a 1971 graduate of Fairborn High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University.  Julie was employed as a computer information specialist; and her hobbies included playing sports, traveling, and her pets.  She was a devoted aunt and loved spending time with her family. Her father preceded her in death.  Survivors include her mother, Mary “Meg”; life partner, Phyllis Bond and her children, Becky Kienzle and Christina Sturm; two sisters, Lynn (David) Kelly, Jill (James) Doyle; nieces and nephews, Sean (Jennifer) Nestle, Jennifer Nestle, Brian Mayenschein, Jeffrey Mayenschein, and Erin Doyle.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  Burial will be in Byron Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

 I have  known Julie since we were in the Second Grade togerther . I know over the last 5-6 years she has suffered with many

different heath issues. Now she is at rest. I know she will be greatly missed by her mom and two sister.
