1970 WOL Baseball

The 1970 WOL Champs baseball team also was represented heavily by the (junior) Class of 1971.  Here are some pictures from that memorable year.

This was a great play!  I actually have this on video also.  It is a wonderful example of teammates working together.  Mike Soergel is a dead duck if it does not work.  My son, a natural lefty says "Mom, you never ask a lefty to lay down a bunt." The surprise element? Well, it did work, with everyone doing their job.

This is hard to read, but both the baseball team and track team had a good day!
