David H. Brannan, 69, of Kettering, OH, formerly of Fairborn, OH, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born November 10, 1952, in Toledo, OH, son of the late Lawrence Donald Brannan and Frances Maureen Brannan. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Patrick (FHS-73) Brannan; and his daughter-in-law, Kristine Brannan, who died a few days before David. David is survived by his beloved wife, Hilda Brannan; son, Tyler Brannan; step-son, Darin McMann (Ann); four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren; siblings, “The Brannan Clan,” Paula (FHS-68), Laureen, Maureen (FBHS-75) (Tony), Terry (FHS-69) (Lisa), Jeffrey (FBHS-79) (Cathy), Kevin (FBHS-80)(Kimberly), and Andrew (FBHS-82) (Jackie); numerous nieces and nephews; as well as godchildren. David graduated from ITT Technical College in Indiana, where he resided for many years. He found his wonderful talent of “Comedy Voice Impressionist” and developed “The Dave Brannan Show” appearing in IN, FL, OH, and onto a bigger stage in Las Vegas doing thirty-five different voice impressions. He returned to Dayton, OH, and retired from being a “Showman.”He had a wonderful voice, great personality, and good looks. Dave was loved by everyone.
