Joseph Diaspro

Joseph James Diaspro Jr., age 64, of Fairborn, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Soin Medical Center. He was born on May 6th, 1951, the Son of Joseph James Sr. and June Juanita (Montgomery) Diaspro in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents. Joseph is survived by his Son Jamie Gilliam, Daughter Paula MacCarthy, Brothers Anthony (Regina), Timothy, and Jeffrey Diaspro of Fairborn, Aunts Eileen and Marylou, a Niece and Nephew, and several Cousins. He was a member of the Abat Biker Group and enjoyed riding with fellow members. Joseph was a loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and Friend. He will be missed by all who love him. I'll miss ya' Little Joe. You were always a good partner on those 18-wheeler trips to N. Dakota during the winters of '79 - 83.

For everyone else, Joe was a member of A.B.A.T.E., the American Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education, it's a motorcycle rights group, not Abat as the obit says. We rode together on three helmet freedom runs to Columbus in '76 & '77.
