Steven Michael Dunn, 72, of Lynchburg, OH, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at his home. He was born July 1, 1953, in San Diego, CA, the son of the late Francis C. and Jane Pfeffer Dunn.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin Massey Dunn, whom he married on September 9, 1995, at the Sugar Tree Ridge Church of Christ; two sons, Brandon (Rueben) Dunn of Los Angeles, CA, and Kevin (Randi) Dunn of Greendale, IN; daughter, Melinda Rae (Howie) Creighton of Pasadena, CA; two stepsons, Paul Blake Massey of Lebanon, OH, and Travis J. Green of Lynchburg; stepdaughter, Joni R. (Keith Gray) Green of Buford, OH; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his twin brother, Francis E. (Janet) Dunn of Virginia Beach, VA; and stepsister, Denis (Tom) Woodmansee McMurray.
Steve honorably retired after 31 years of service in the United States Air Force. He attended Lynchburg-Clay Schools and was a 1971 Flyer graduate of Fairborn High School in Fairborn, OH. He continued his education at Cincinnati Bible College and briefly served the Danville Church of Christ.
Steve had a deep passion for the study of Gettysburg. His dedication led him to study extensively and successfully qualify as a licensed tour guide, a role he cherished and took great pride in.

In accordance with Steve’s wishes, no visitation or services will be observed. He will be cremated, and his remains will be taken to his favorite place in Gettysburg, PA.
