I don't have an obituary for Bruce. He lived with his parents in Topeka, Kansas and died in his sleep November 30, 2014.

Condolences can be sent to his parents: Jack and Sarah Fisher, 3729 SW Woodglen St. Topeka KS 66610.

I am sure they would appreciate it.

Bruce was a spirited, intriguing guy. That twinkle in his eye and that sexy smile always kept you wondering what he was up to. I even let him cheat off me in Sociology class! And you that knew me,know that wasn't normal for me!  His voice was so beautiful! We'll always remember his solo in "Silent Night" at Vespers...like an angel. I am deeply grieved over his death.

Just so sad.  I spent a lot of time with Bruce playing music (guitar) together at my parents house.

It still feels as though we are too young to have to say farewell to our classmates.  I knew each of you (some closer) from afar and admired your abilities to make such beautiful music together.  I wish I had more time to remember each one as the special folk you really are at heart.  Your comments are special and do lift up so please do not hesitate to share.  I do have a great love for all of you and especially for the family of Bruce, which is all of us who longed for a voice but were blessed with hearing.  Thank you!

Very sad indeed...a very handsome being in both his younger and older years...I remember Bruce with only his guitar and voice on stage for a school assembly singing Otis Readings "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay",  I have never forgotten his version and I am still amazed when I re-listen to it this morning in my mind...he sang and played it perfectly...and performed the whistling parts perfectly too...(which was a bold thing to do in front of a live audience)

Oh, seeing Bruce's high school picture really brings back the memories.  Yep, good look'n men!
