Pam Place (Frank)

Pamela Place Frank, 57, St. Marys, died unexpectedly July 12. 2010 at St. Rita's Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a daughter of George W. (Maj. Ret) and Janice (Moser) Place. Her father survives. In 1975, she married Norton M. Frank Jr., who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Tres (Janelle); a daughter, Katie (Chris) Brinker; a sister, Angie (Mike) Metz; many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and close friends.

She graduated from Fairborn Baker High School in 1971 after attending Morrison Academy in Taiwan while her family was stationed there. She was chosen as a Wright Patterson Air Force Base Debutante her junior year of high school. After graduation, she attended Wright State University, where she was an active member of the Delta Zeta sorority. The Franks owned and operated the InnLet Tavern in St. Marys. Her interests included cooking, boating, reading and crosswords. She devoted much of her time to being a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and mother.

Pam was a sorority sister of mine. This picture is taken at her house. I must’ve taken it. Pam is in the back row, second from right.
