JUDITH (JUDY) P. HOBBS LOVEJOY, FHS FLYERS CLASS of 1971

Judith Pauline “Judy” Hobbs Lovejoy, 69, of Fairborn, OH, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Soin Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1953, in Pensacola, FL, the daughter of Patrick and Velma (Szabo) Hobbs. She is preceded in death by her father, Patrick Hobbs; in-laws, Arbin “Sonny” and Lena Horn; and her former husband and father of her sons, Tim (FHS-72) Lovejoy. Survivors include her sons, Adam (FHS-90) Lovejoy and Jacob (FHS-01) (Tina) Lovejoy, both of Fairborn, OH; grandchildren, Nicholas, Courtney, Nate, Shane, and Holly; mother, Velma Hobbs; two sisters, Patricia (PH-72) (Duke) Dillmore and Teresa (PH-) Hobbs (Ray Dysas); brother, Joseph (PH-76) (Diana, PH-80) Hobbs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Judy was a longtime member of Mary, Help of Christians Parish in Fairborn and sang in the choir for many years. She was employed with the University of Dayton Research Institute, retiring earlier this year, and was currently enjoying doing some house renovations and spending time with her family.
