Kris and I weren't close close, but she was friendly with everyone, so I felt as though I knew her as well as anyone. She lived in New York City and I called her after 911 and we talked for such a long time, about anything and everything. I think she really appreciated a call "from home" caring for her wherabouts. The last time I saw her was at her father's funeral visitation, and Caroline was little and Chris, her husband, spent most of his time chasing her around. Kris was beautiful as always and Caroline was adorable. (Chris wasn't too ugly either).

I have known about her stroke for some time and thought of her and prayed for her often. I truly am glad that she's at peace with the Lord that she loved so much. We were in the same confirmation class (oh to find pictures of THAT!) and I knew of her testimony of faith. Sail on, sing on, march on, sweet Kris!

I'm so sorry to learn of Kris leaving us. I knew it was a long shot, but was hoping I might get to see her at our 50th. She was beautiful, fun, and mischievous. I knew her fairly well in high school, but really got to know her the rest of the 70's decade. We shared many wonderful memories and I will always have those in my heart.  A wonderful woman that I have been blessed to know.

Kris and I were very good friends during our school years.  We spent alot of time at each others houses.  She was such a beautiful person, inside and out.  You will be greatly missed my friend.

Kris and her older sister were two of the most popular girls in school.
Pretty, fun, smart, cheerleaders....
Funny to remember if I saw a "slam book" Kris had filled out, I def wanted to know who she thought was cool.
Thinking of you sweet Kris angel

I didn't know Kris well enough to call her friend, but the times we bumped into each other and shared a few words, she was always sweet and kind.  I remember that once she told me I should part my hair on the other side.  Funny how we remeber little things like that over the decades.  I am sorry to hear of her making her transition, but glad that she is now free of her Earthly limitations, that once more she is a Flyer, flying free.  God's speed, Kris...

I've been in mourning for Kris for years after learning of her devastating stroke from which she never recovered.  We were good friends in HS, fellow Flyerettes and roommates for 3 years @ OSU.  Kris was a very spiritual person, claiming her love of The Lord daily.  She was a beautiful person inside and out.  Kris was so talented and kind. She was so funny making me laugh out loud. I know she's @ peace now.  I send condolences to her family.
 Until  we meet again.

I didn't know Kris personally. But I thought she was the prettiest girl in the school. With that beautiful smile, and that long dark hair and those eyes! I had heard of her stroke. I am glad now she is past her pain and with our Lord.

One day at Ohio State spring semester 1972, I went over to Drake Tower with Kris to visit some guy she used to make cookies for, named Rodriguez; they had a nick name for her, the "Georgia Peach."  I think because she is just as sweet as a georgia peach. That day, the first time I ever met my husband John, he and Rodriguez were roommates. The last time in 1975, John and I were visiting Columbus a week before our wedding, and walking down the street here came Kris. I got out of the car and went back to her apartment and we spent the afternoon together catching up on each other,as always so fresh, vibrant, and full of fun. I have always held a prayer for the special person that she is, and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. God Bless her and her family. Michelle Mancuso
