FAIRBORN David W. Zimmerman, age 59 of Marco Island, Florida, formerly of Fairborn, passed away Monday October 29, 2012. He was born July 29, 1953 in Dayton, the son of E. Dudley and Bebe (Douglas) Zimmerman. David was a graduate of Fairborn High School and Eastern Kentucky University. Additionally, he obtained CFP and CLU designations and enjoyed a life-long career in finance. David's greatest love was family to whom he was devoted. David was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Rose and her daughter, Ashley; his father of Fairborn; two sisters, Elaine Zimmerman of Fairborn, Joann Zimmerman of Bellbrook; two nephews, Douglas and Brian Walters; as well as numerous other extended family and many friends. David was a treasured husband and beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. A funeral service will be held on Monday November 5, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
