KIMBERLY YANTIS FORD-PETERS, FHS FLYERS CLASS of 1971

Kimberly Yantis Ford-Peters, 68, of Bonita Springs FL, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Naples FL. She was born May 14, 1953, to the late Morris (Jim) and Nancy Yantis in Dayton, OH. Along with her parents, Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Peters.

She is survived by her sons, Donald and Nicholas Ford; three grandsons, Christian, Aiden, and Gabriel; sisters, Kay Neil (FBHS-73)

(Mike Battigaglia) and Shawn (FBHS-78) Ruth (Timothy); as well as nieces, nephews, and numerous family and friends.

After Kimberly graduated from high school, she lived abroad in London for a year and later moved to San Francisco, CA, while attending San Francisco University.

Kimberly will forever be known as the original flower child. She never lost that sense of love, peace, and happiness, as she passed it onto her sons and grandsons.

Denise Kline (Derge)

Kim was among those people who were considered part of our class but for some reason did not graduate June 6, 1971. It doesn't make her any less of a classmate, but I do not have a senior picture. Actually, she and I started school in Medway and I may have a third grade picture around here someplace. I don't remember when she moved, but it was sometime! Sorry to hear of yet another death in the class.
